Our Fisherfolk
We are very proud and honoured to be working with our fisherfolk in Lake Huron, Bruce Peninsula, Grand Bend, and Manitoulin Island.

We’ve been working with them for the past two years to bring you the finest quality fish from Lake Huron.

We are very proud and honoured to be working with Guy Nadjiwon, a fisherman of the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation at Neyaashiinigmiing (Cape Crocker Reserve). Guy and his family have been fishing the waters of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay for generations. We have been working with him for the past few weeks to put into place what we believe to be the first ever practice of Ike jime or shinkei jime on freshwater fish.
“My name is Bill George Jr. I am a 3rd generation fisherman from Kettle and Stony Point First Nation. I’ve been raised on the water as an Indigenous fisherman. After a tragic accident on the water in 2012, losing my father Bill George Sr., I took up the family business. To ensure that our ancestral ways of fishing were preserved for the future generations to come. In 2023 we invested into a generational vessel. Designed and built in China and was delivered in September 2023. This vessel has yet to disappoint and has gone through countless days of fishing through many different weather conditions. With great pride and honor, we’ve named this vessel after my late father. William Calvin and stationed it in the family channel. Thank you for the support, we look forward to fishing and providing quality products for years and hopefully generations to come.”
